Legends of Braeyork by Morgan Rush

I love to read and write – too many genre’s to count them all. My books are romantic erotica set in the medieval fantasy world of the Braeyork Dominion, where anything is possible.

Sold to the King by Morgan Rush

Legends of Braeyork, Book One

“Growing up as a poor girl in my village, I knew I possessed but one thing of any monetary value.

My innocence.

I had developed early. Men would stop and stare at the generous curves of my tall body. But my father understood that only the King of the Braeyork Dominion was rich enough to pay for the gift I had to offer.

So here I was, ready to be inspected like a broodmare at auction to determine the price the King was willing to offer my widowed father and help our starving family survive the winter starvation.

If I used my advantages with skill, I might avoid becoming another concubine to the King and, with luck, become his Virgin in Waiting, the chance to be his next first-wife.

Or perhaps, he might choose me as his second or third-wife to provide pleasures unbecoming of a first-wife.

But what I didn’t know, standing in public view at the King’s court, was how he would test me before gifting me to one of his two handsome sons.”

Legends of Braeyork, Book Two

I could not have imagined a worse fate than being forced to service the commander of the King’s Elite Guard in preparation for being sent to the royal harem of concubines.

But would I be any better off if I was taken by a half-man, half-wolf creature?

How would I be treated by a towering manbeast covered in white hair with fangs protruding from his slobbering mouth?

Yes, I was a half-thing too – more Fae than human. I was still pure and innocent in the ways of men, an orphan raised by my grandfather in this sleepy, remote part of the Braeyork Dominion.

And I knew what men wanted when they stared at me. No matter what I wore, I could not disguise my full figure from their leering eyes.

Was it only a matter of time before my innocence was ripped from me?

But when the inner thoughts of the manbeast’s monstrous desire filled my mind through some kind of psychic connection to each other, would I fight him too?

Or would he be the one who would ultimately save me?

Saved by the Warrior Wife by Morgan Rush

Legends of Braeyork, Book Three

Desperate to survive, I disguised myself as a man and became the most trusted Squire of the Prince of Crasmere, Heir to the Braeyork Dominion.

He knew not that beneath my heavy wool uniform lurked the raw passion of a fiercely loyal maiden – a woman who could fulfill his fantasies of romantic love.

But alas, I was not as naive as the Prince.

I had lost my parents to the Vaeler King, leader of the horned creatures raising an army to take the throne. I became a survivor and, disguised as a man, found opportunities denied to the women of Braeyork.

Still, dressing the handsome, muscular Prince every morning and becoming his closest companion after the death of his father, the King, I grew conflicted with my deception.

I was not as strong as I thought, aching with desire and nights of longing.

And now the final straw – I was to advise the new King of whom among the Dominion’s most desirable virgins he should choose as his Queen.

Mated by the Ebony Captain Morgan Rush

Legends of Braeyork, Book Four

I knew it was not supposed to be this way, but perhaps it was inevitable I would become a woman this afternoon.

It was rare to see such a large vessel anchored this close to shore. But more surprising was the scene unfolding before us. A long, sleek dory was being lowered into the water with ropes and pulleys. The men on board were shouting instructions. They seemed excited.

As they got closer, I gripped my mouth in shock.

Four tall men stood upright in the dory, naked but for a small loin cloth. And even more astounding, the men had dark ebony colored skin – black as the midnight sky.

I remained frozen and could not avert my eyes.

One man, who seemed to be the leader, stood smiling, flashing a brilliant smile and folding his hands together as if giving thanks to the gods.

His body glistened with beads of water from the sea. His silky smooth, hairless, broad chest, wide shoulders, and bulging arms gave him the stature of a warrior.

He glanced my way as I ducked low behind the long grasses, praying he did not see me. I waited a few moments before I rose up and gingerly peered through the slats of grass.

To my surprise, he stepped out of his loincloth and kicked it aside.

The image of his firmly sculptured dark backside slipping under the turquoise waters of the Sea of Glint left me holding my breath.

Legends of Braeyork, Box Set #1 by Morgan Rush

Legends of Braeyork, Box Set #1

The first three books of this spicy medieval fantasy romance series. Plus three even spicier sequels!

Braeyork is a land of Kings and Queens who rule with absolute authority. King Rolfe is the ruler of all the Braeyork Dominion, including the unruly Passview Western Territories and the Channel Islands of Highbridge. His twin sons are next in line to the throne – although Shane born a minute before Aiden, is the heir apparent and the Prince of Crasmere.

The King, like all nobility of Braeyork, has a first wife to bear his children, and a second and third wife to provide additional pleasures. And beyond that, his harem of concubines is available to his sons and to those upon whom he favors.

Braeyork is also a land of dark magic, including the Serpen Queen, and rumors of ‘half-things’ – humans who have mated with Faeries and other creatures such as the white Midnight Lupus and the Vaeler, a breed of horned creatures that must mate with human females to reproduce.

Women become maidens when they reach the age of nineteen years plus a day. If exceptionally becoming in appearance, they may bring wealth and prestige to poor families in exchange for taking their place as the first, second or third wife to a noble.

In the Legends of Braeyork series, no one is ever truly safe.
